The Center for Educational Guidance and Psychological Care at the University of Basra organized its second visit to the Social Research Unit in the Basra Court of Appeal, with the participation of the center's teachers, Eng. M edit Zaki Hassan and m. M Nawal Mohammed Assaf and m. M Ashwaq Jabbar Hammoud and m. M Nour Kateh Abbas
The second visit, on Wednesday 7/9 2022, represented the first working session on the ground, which is to meet with people who are about to divorce and to provide advice and guidance that could help them solve some of their problems and reverse the decision to divorce. The female teachers met with a group of 5 cases And to know the reasons for divorce, which were from them
1- Abandonment, failure to provide the bank to the wife and children, and lack of understanding
2- Drug abuse by husband and wife abuse
3- The marriage of minors and the intervention of the parents
4- Stubbornness on the part of the wife and threatening the husband with suicide, which made the husband decide to divorce and insist on it.
There was an effective role for the social researcher to convince the spouses of the need not to resort to family disintegration and the loss of children, and that the best solution is understanding and not resorting to divorce.
