Basra University participates in the meeting of the coordinating committees to combat drugs.

 
Dr. Hiba Majeed Issa, Director of the University Psychological Counseling Center, represented the University of Basra in the meeting of the Anti-Drug Coordination Committee in Basra, held by the local government and chaired by Dr. Hussein Al-Jaberi, Governor's Advisor foriversity of Basra Participates in Anti-Drug Coordination Committee Meeting  Health and Environment Affairs.

Heba stated that the meeting resulted in several recommendations, including intensifying advertising campaigns aimed at raising awareness among young people about the danger of being drawn into this dangerous scourge by displaying it on advertising screens spread throughout the city’s streets.

Encouraging the holding of lectures, workshops and awareness seminars aimed at reducing the spread of the phenomenon in schools and universities, and creating effective partnerships with governmental and civil media outlets to promote anti-drug campaigns.
